It fits comfortably
196lbs, 5'6", 44in. hips, small waist (for your sizing reference). usually wear a lg top but ordered the xl out of fear of the body suit not being able to fit my XL bottom but was worried about it being too big at the top. (My life story) But it actually has plenty of stretch so it fit just right with room to gain OR lose weight surprisingly and have it fit. So do not fear big butt ladies, it stretches around that bottom lol. I am pleasantly surprised.
