Fantastic microphone for recording and podcasting. I used a borrowed Yeti for a couple of years and it was amazing. When I had to give it away I was looking for an alternative and this model just came out. My relatively amateur ear can tell this is a quality mic with quality sound, and I honestly can't tell the difference between my Yeti and Yeti Nano recordings. I bought a cheap boom mic and am very happy with the results. If you're someone who wants to improve sound quality but is wondering if you need a "full Yeti" for a few extra features (an extra capacitor, a few different sound modes), you probably don't need anything else. than that. Also, the form factor is HUGE. It's a lot less intrusive and a lot easier to store. For me there is no noticeable difference in quality and an enormous gain in everyday usability 30% less than with the Yeti.
