Since they are $9 for (2) and have all the positive reviews I decided to take a chance. I wanted something that would allow me to listen to music (good sound) and make phone calls. Pros: They seem to have a solid construction, low price, quite comfortable in ear, volume control, end call button. Cons: 1. The plug is inserted too far and you lose the stereo signal (it goes mono). This happened with my Droid phone and PC. I fixed it by making a thin piece of cardboard disk and crazy gluing it. This fixed the problem.2. Stethoscope effect - the cable transmits so much sound into the microphone that you have to remain motionless when making a call, otherwise even a slight movement (touching your clothes with the cable) will disturb the conversation partner with the noise .3. The sound quality is good for the price, but overall ok. Definitely not "great soundโ. It's a nice midrange sound - I would call it "honky". My $10 Panasonic Ergofit headphones (no mic) sound much better but aren't as comfortable. I wouldn't buy them if I were you. I'm considering buying the $15 Panasonic Ergofit with mic.
