Review on SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds Live: True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling & Wireless Charging Case - Mystic Bronze (US Version) by Candra ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

Safe form factor - do not fall out when you put on a mask at the entrance to the subway or store. Good bass (compare with Huawei), the sound is pleasant. The smartphone software has equalizer settings, and they work - several preset modes. For 2 hours of talking, the battery is discharged to 60%, that is, it will last 4-5 hours without recharging. When talking on the phone, I can perfectly hear the interlocutor and the interlocutor hears me perfectly. Similarly, when calling WhatsApp, there are no complaints about the quality of voice transmission. I read reviews, someone complains that the interlocutor does not hear well, I have to turn off the headphones - I'm fine with that. One very significant drawback is the noise reduction. The description says "cuts off up to 97% of extraneous unwanted sounds in the low frequency range." And the headphones really cut in the low-frequency range. Only the noise from this does not disappear - neither in the subway, nor on the street. It's getting a little better, but it's really "a little". You will not listen to an audiobook in the subway with such cutting noise. I haven’t flown on an airplane yet, I suspect that it will be difficult to watch a movie with them there. I compare the noise reduction with HUAWEI Freebuds Pro - here they really remove the noise, so that you don’t pass the station in the subway, you have to turn on the transparent mode. But Huawei does not live up to the Samsung in bass. All software from Samsung is installed on the smartphone, so the necessary checkboxes-buttons are pressed where necessary :) As a result, if the noise reduction was made to work fully, they would be ideal headphones for me. And so - another compromise. One more nuance. Headphones do not support simultaneous operation with two devices. For example, either to a computer or to a smartphone. And so that you can connect to a zoom on a computer and answer a call to a smartphone - it’s impossible (unlike the already mentioned Huawei, they have this and it’s convenient).

Pros
  • Design, sound, running time
Cons
  • Almost imperceptible noise reduction. No simultaneous pairing with two devices.

It's a shame for the PC version of Discord.

You have to fix it every time so it doesn't fall out.

You put the phone in your left pocket, the bluetooth starts to lose. Call sound quality is poor.

I liked it, the case picked up a normal one.
