Bought last May and only recently showing signs of use. The velcro is your cheapest velcro so it soon started to wear out which I knew was going to happen. as they start out at only $20 (I don't mind too much). I've done some basic barbell exercises with them, but I felt that they really shine when given some serious rope abuse. As mentioned they held strong the other day after about 25 climbs and I was very impressed. If you are a beginner looking for a basic handguard I would highly recommend them. Would I buy again? I think next time I'll go for the Victory grips just to experience better quality velcro straps. Hope that helps!
