That's enough for an emu, BUT.

First I ordered this product on the 3rd and it arrived on Sat 6th via FedEx so this company has an excellent delivery time. I ordered late at night and when I woke up early in the morning it was already shipped while I was sleeping. Big. I was very nervous and worried if it would be big enough and luckily it is. There is no auto-rotation in this device and for my needs that is normal. I will use it for other types of eggs in the future as it will hold any type of egg you need to hatch. Turkey, duck, chicken and other types of eggs in the future. I was very pleasantly surprised by its size, looks and function, comparable to expensive devices but without automation. You can also order trays for it. To use, I simply adjusted the shelves to fit my eggs, put my own thermometer inside with a small cup of water, plugged it in and pressed the button until it reached 39C. It is very comfortable to wear and retains heat well. The blue light is a nice feature and makes the device look really nice, but I'm not sure I'll be using it once the balls are in. Keep it going when you need to travel and there's a built-in top handle. This device will appeal to anyone who needs to travel with eggs. I'll update the information as soon as I hear about it and if anything goes wrong I'll report here and let you know. The eggs will be shipped on Monday, so I'll be back with more news soon. UPDATE: Already back. Okay, so bigger isn't always better. I really want to like this device BUT, the pace is just about everywhere and when you're hatching eggs that you pay $200 each for, it's no good. I literally have to hire someone to take care of my balls so I can leave the house tomorrow because the adjustments are so important and permanent for EMU. Before age 95 they die, after age 98 they die and they just will NOT stay between those two numbers unless you adjust something every 15 minutes and the top shelf is about a degree or two from the bottom. It's great for other types of eggs because it wants to be set at 99 F, but that's too much for what I'm hatching. It will be a miracle when I see an emu baby using this device, I sleep in shifts with my husband because the eggs in this device have to be tended at least 4 times an hour due to fluctuations. I LOVE it for chickens, ducks, turkeys etc but NOT for emus. If you must travel with eggs, you will love it. * If this review is useful to you, please let me know by clicking the Useful button.
