For a long time I couldn't figure out why my hair texture was so terrible. Having recently given birth to a child, I knew that pregnancy would affect many things, including my hair. As time passed and my hair seemed to be getting worse, I thought it might be our water. Here in California I read that the water contained a significant amount of chlorine and I was sure that was the reason. I bought and installed a shower head filter and really got it working. I didn't want to judge quickly and waited about 6 months. It was clear that the problem wasn't the water, it was my shampoo and conditioner. I was really hesitant to switch this shampoo because I really liked the smell and it was a huge bottle for less than $10. It's time for me to change my hair care routine. Let me tell you how good my hair feels right now. My hair used to have this weird texture. I can't even describe it. Definitely something I've never experienced before. It was very shiny, like oily, and knotted all the time. I felt like someone put a small amount of glue in my shampoo. I hated combing it. It was an absolute nightmare. So much hair fell out that my carapace looked like my Pomeranian's tail. I was afraid to wash, comb or style my hair. A second after combing through all the tangles, my hair was instantly knotted again. It was so weird and annoying. No matter how many times I washed and rinsed it, my hair was always dirty. Like I said, it took me a while to figure out where it came from and while I miss the smell, I definitely don't miss the texture of my hair.
