Review on Powerlet (PAC-069): Dual USB Adapter 2.1A with Powerlet Plug by Alex Reunion

I don't like bad reviews. but I had a little history with this topic. I bought one of these from BigSky and it worked for the first 34 days on my R1200RT (I've used this item 5-6 times). I liked this item and it worked adequately to keep my iPhone6 charged. Then about 45 days later I use it and it won't turn on. I was unable to return to the retailer as my 30 day return policy had expired. I contacted the company and they were happy to send me a new item. Packed and sent back, I waited 2-3 weeks for a replacement. I did this and when I started using it, after 4-6 hours on the road, the device stopped charging my phone and became buggy. I tested the device with other power supplies and 12V batteries, it's just dead. Did my BMW motorcycle kill everyone? Unknown but I don't think so as I have other 12v accessories that work great. I personally. I think the product is poorly made and I'll take a competitor's 12v cigarette lighter converter and use a standard USB charger. You always seem to work for me. $50 is a bit steep. Buy this item from others or make your own decision.
