Review on ๐Ÿพ Nite Ize PetLit LED Collar Light by Jennifer Hirsch

Revainrating 2 out of 5

In a word, intelligent. fits basic collars

I'll be the first to admit that this was probably not meant to be worn by a six foot (standing on its hind legs) 80 pound dog. (or "Destroyer Dog," if you will.) However, it matched her pink bubblegum "necklace" with a "tag" on it that read "Daddy's Girl." And my eyes aren't what they used to be, so the light was helpful in helping me see where she went in the dark (before she can run out and punch me as she tries to close behind me hide when something makes a sound). . On the second day, however, there were obvious problems. First, the clasp isn't metal, it's loose plastic. After three days (or night) it had to be replaced with a steel sleeve. Second, it works by simply twisting it. However, there is absolutely nothing preventing it from twisting completely as the plastic threads wear out. Not even a simple "childproof" lip. And with my eyes no longer what they used to be, finding this tiny little battery is a pain in the Watusi. I won't advise anyone to buy it, for the price it's ok. But expect you get what you pay for. A better design will cost them more and therefore they will charge you more.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Useless features
