I bought them for the trip. The only thing I don't like about them is that both boots are in the same bag, both point in the same direction and I found that they take up more room in my suitcase than if they were 2 different boot bags. Then I could spread them in different directions. I mean the bag is good, I like that the boots don't touch each other as they are separate compartments with 2 zips and the top is transparent so you can see which boots are in the bag. The only downside is that they take up more space than I thought. As for the size of the pockets, I use them for my cowboy boots. I'm a women's size 8.5 and they just about fit in a bag. I don't think this bag fits anything larger than a size 9.
