The only thing that was strong and durable about this potato/sweet potato cutter were the blades. The plastic is very thin, which requires little effort. The first time I try to cut half a potato by pressing the handle, I already have a feeling that it will not go well. At that moment, I heard a crack right in front of the pressing grip. The base isn't heavy, is made of the same lightweight plastic, and even glides with two small rubber grips. The small plastic screw holding the handle and the blade itself is simply unscrewed after two potatoes. half or 1/3 of a potato because there is very little space. As soon as you squeeze the handle, the fries just fly straight out of the blade. I really wanted to love this fried and sweet potato cut because I make it for my son and I using an air fryer. But for $20 and flimsy plastic it's not worth it.
