TL;DR IT WORKS. I got a 32ft cable for my Rift S setup after trying two other types of 25ft USB cables and they all said they would work. Spoiler alert, they didn't work. You ended up biting the bullet and spending extra money on this cable. At first I connected it without an additional micro USB power supply. Low level and now the headset is on! (unlike other cables where it didn't do anything) However, the tracking in VR was a bit shaky. My left hand would randomly run away from me, or the headset would lose track entirely. But then I connected additional power supply and BAM. Clear, smooth tracking as if I were connected directly to my computer! I will update this review later the longer I own it.
