USB 2.0 transfer rate only, USB 3.0 compatible only

So many vendors sell their product as USB 3.0 even though it's only USB 3.0 compatible. This device has some nice connectivity options: USBC, MicroUSB, and a standard USB connector, but unfortunately it only transfers at USB 2.0 speeds. I tried 3 different SD cards with over 100MB/s and the highest speed I ever got was only around 40MB/s. Refuse to buy anything from companies that falsely advertise a device as USB 3.0 if it's only USB 3.0 compatible. Recommend a more honest company.
