Review on 💧 PureFlow: Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System by Chris Russell

The tap stopper is leaking, it can probably be repaired. It's a cheap connector, the installation video says to be careful because of the plastic threads. I had everything firmly in place and was hit in the face by a high pressure jet, loosening several jets and then tightening again. I have a couple of fittings from a table top charcoal filter but they are not compatible with this unit which is a shame as they are good quality stainless steel. I change my table filter every year. When I saw this reverse osmosis unit I wanted to upgrade it. From what I have read and read videos I have the impression that these filters have been good for a year. I was surprised to see manual filters that need to be changed every six months. Connecting to a sink is the effort I wanted to put into this type of device. After a year I would give it to a friend or throw it away. I had no plans for the separate pipe clips cut with filter ties. I can't tell you how the water tastes as I haven't used the unit, put it back in the box for a refund. I have used a Watts Premier 500315 filter and other brands of this carbon filter that say they filter 2 years. The water comes out crystal clear and tastes like mineral water. Before that I used Brita & Pure, they always floated in the water and tasted bad. I can recommend any desktop charcoal filter like Watts. I wasn't happy with the cost of a reverse osmosis system, replacement filters and cheap parts for what I paid, I expected a quality product. Maybe reverse osmosis water tastes great, but I'll stick with an activated carbon filter for now.
