I've tried many curling irons and still don't like any. I am very prone to burn myself in my curling endeavors. This one heats up quickly, is very easy to use, and if you can manage to get it on your skin and not your hair, you don't have to break the ice. The only thing I would like to point out is that at this price point they should include the recommended heat resistant mat.
