I usually wait before reviewing products to make sure I'm having the best experience. But within a few weeks of owning this watch, I believe it has been tried and tested. On the other hand the minute numbers are a little hard to read, my 7 year old had to squint a little to read the numbers but I have to admit he caught the general concept like a fish in water, I've never been more proud. On a positive note, this watch fell off twice in the first week. Every time I read other reviews I thought "It was good while it lasted" but surprisingly there wasn't even a scratch; also after a fall on the face in one of these cases. However, what prompted me to an early review is that my son left this watch in his pocket, it went through the washer and dryer and wasn't discovered until the trousers were ironed. Surprisingly, apart from a few patches of moisture that dried quickly after a few days in a bowl of rice, the clock kept ticking and had no visible scratches. If you consider how quickly my son was able to master the analogue system thanks to these lessons and the tests he went through; it is definitely worth every penny spent.
