Review on Pacsafe RFIDsafe Passport Protector Black by Lisa Stephens

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Attractive, compact, with velcro and hopefully effective! No belt loop.

I received a small black Pac-Safe passport holder which was shipped quickly direct from Revain. It's simple, slim, slim and small. The interior has polyester fabric inside BUT I can't see or feel any tin foil (passive RFID protection) inside. I wonder if it's really efficient compared to scanners or not. There is no belt loop or anything, so you will need a money belt or fanny pack to keep your passport in. You can probably fit 3 passes in, but more will shove. If the package is indeed anti-RFID, it must be closed completely or it will not work. So if you stuff it too tight, it won't close properly and won't work. You can fit 3 US size passport books and maybe some money and ID if you want, but then again there is no belt loop so you will need a purse, purse, backpack or fanny pack to put this in. The only big problem is: does it work against RFID scanners? I haven't checked if they work yet. I need to check my passport at customs to see if it works or not. But right now I don't know if they work or not. Since security is best ensured in layers, I also put passports in one of those anti-RFID metal pouches. I chose Moseeg passport holders as they seem to be top quality. :) To see the RFID sleeves I've used and my review of the product, look up the following article on Amz: Moseeg RFID Sleeves for Credit Cards and Passports - Fully compliant with US GSA FIPS-201 Electromagnetic Opaque Shielding Requirements - Compatibility with all major RFID-enabled documents, including ID cards and driver's licenses. Product quality: 5 out of 5 (if it works as intended). Appearance: 4 out of 5 (no belt loop). . Let's hope it actually blocks RFID scanners. :)
