They are installed in a '98 Montero (Mk 2.5) that we travel and travel with a lot. Headrest covers were not installed as other covers were used to store equipment. I wasn't expecting much as the price and time will tell how they will wear, but upon initial installation and use they're not bad. I twisted all the straps and connected them under the passenger side with factory snap hooks (lid straps didn't work). ) and on the driver's side, use the clip to center the four loops to tighten the fit. I cut some 3/4" PVC tubing about eight inches and stuffed it into the covers between the seat and backrest. The fabric is light enough not to interfere with the seat heater.
