My cats love to use this bed. They have long hair and one of them is always hot. He sleeps constantly, stretched out on a cold tile. I think this bed fabric is comfortable and breathable. Both cats use it quite often. They will sleep on it for several hours before moving on to the next location. Setup is very easy. I have it in a large configuration as both of my cats are quite large. I use it on carpet and it's still stable even though I don't use suction cups. I have chosen not to use some of the toys as my cats are not usually interested in such things. Luckily, the configuration doesn't get messed up if you choose to do it, which I'm definitely glad to know. I haven't washed it yet but I think it's very easy to wash. The texture of the fabric can cause pilling when washed, but I'm sure it's minor.
