I bought these before my baby was born and was planning on using them from birth. I know they say they fit about 5lbs but at 7lbs 2oz they didn't fit my baby at birth. the amount of crumpled fabric just looked silly and just didn't suit him. I want to love her, but there are too many little things that don't make her amazing. I can't get them at all. They're either too loose and leaking, or too tight, leaving my poor kid red spots on his burly thighs. The waistband only opens on half the pants I have and by 4 months my baby is already on the 3rd loosest elastic opening (most of them as they are all slightly different). Another annoyance is that I bought 8 cases and as they are all handmade the fit varies greatly from case to case. Some of them have different size buttons for adjustable elastics. Some of them are quite small buttons and I had trouble with them unraveling in the wash which resulted in having to invent a tool to get the elastic out of the channel they are sewn into to put the cover back on to make usable. I've never had a #2 leak, even with fairly intense BF poop, but they leak urine maybe half the time, probably because I can't get them on my son properly. I don't hate them but I wish I had just bought them for my entire stash because now I find I need better options. The company seems like a great little business, they have several moms working from home and I have a lot of customer experience, but this product could be a lot better with a little tweaking.
