I spend about a month every summer hiking and I probably make s'mores about 15 times and hot dogs a few times each summer. My last set had some of these nasty glitches last summer. I have used it twice in my garden fire pit and I am very satisfied. Used them one night for s'mores and the other night for hot dogs and corn. The s'mores got pretty dirty as usual, after eating I let the tops burn for a few minutes again and burn the leftovers, then just clean them off with a sponge and dish soap (while they're still hot). I also used them on cobs one night and they held the weight of the corn pretty well. We cooked the corn first and then let it cool while we cooked the hot dogs. It looks like they'll last us at least a couple of seasons. I've included some photos to show how heavy they are (the photos were taken before they were used as it was too dark to photograph outside). Would love to buy again!
