I bought this box because the schematic shows that I2C is available (SDA, SCL) but it's not on the box itself. This detracts from the project I was working on due to the limited I/O availability seriously. I switched to an Arduino Mega2560 with multiple serial ports and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get 100% reliable communication with the Gowoops GPS module, but that didn't happen. I changed the configuration with U-Center and increased the scan speed to 5Hz, baud rate to 115200 and also removed all messages except $GPRMC and still not solved the problem. Tried different read cycle times including only once per second and still not 100% reliable. The code doesn't use any libraries (some tried and not very good) and is as simple as I can make it, but reads latitude/longitude/time/date etc. However, it seems to have an eeprom, so how can I flash it , and it saved the settings and turns on with the correct configuration every time.
