Review on 🧀 White Marble Cheese Slicer by Fox Run with 2 Extra Wires - Dimensions: 5 x 8.25 x 1.25 inches by Matt Simpsons

3.5 stars, but the price was the decisive factor for me in giving it 4 stars. This slicer cuts cheese very well. I don't have much experience with other cutting machines, but I have a feeling there are probably better ones that hold the wire tighter or cut cheese smoother. My wife says her mom had one that could carve cheese straight out of plastic - I'm skeptical given how thick the plastic is usually on block cheese. This slicer definitely can't do that and to be honest I don't expect it either. If that's what you want, this slicer might not be for you. Other: The marble is very nice, heavier than I expected. The handle is plastic and screws in to tighten the wire. The wire turned out to be a bit loose (or at least not as tight as I would like) and I accidentally stripped the threads inside the plastic handle. Do not do that.
