This is the third type of selfie light I've tried and it's a clear winner. I didn't know it from the description but it uses a standard tripod mount so I was able to use the tiny tripod I have to mount everything low profile. I returned cheap plastic from another brand. The materials seem to be more durable. A long phone extension allows you to point it between screens, close to my face to get the camera as close as possible, and lights can be positioned directly over the computer. The included tripod is fine, but it's nice to know
