I've had bad experiences with Tasco in the past so I vowed never to buy anything from them again. To be honest it has been almost 30 years since I bought my last pair of defective Tascos from the factory. I decided to try them because they were almost $20 off and I wanted an inexpensive pair to stay with friends. Looking through them on arrival I was amazed at how clean and clear the view was. Very, very impressive for the price. I'm serious, I exclaimed really loud. Very crisp, crisp, great color and perfect alignment. Import at an even lower price or I just got lucky. At the same time I bought a Simmons 8x42 roof binoculars. In my opinion this is the same item but with a different gum. Both companies' boxes share the same trendy business address. Both are remarkably clear and interchangeable in use. I will say Simmons is better in every way, with a much prettier strap. I originally considered bringing back the underdog, but they're so close (and clear!) that I decided to just keep them. Get some cheap binoculars, you'll either get great, decent, or stinky). Personally, I'd try them for around $30, $50 max? No, personally I would look for a slightly better glass, e.g. B. something that is airtight and waterproof/fogproof and keep an eye on sales.
