The thing is big and chunky. For example, very large and bulky. It takes up more than 1/2 of the backpack. It's not comfortable. However, compared to its size, it doesn't hold up much. There are many "pockets" for organization, but they make it very difficult for the suitcase to fit more than 3 items. If the items you want to store are thicker than 1/4 inch and you add more than a few items, the case will not close. I bought this for an international trip to store and organize all the audio/video stuff we would need for an airplane and it was a failure. We brought several audio splitters and backup batteries, and the case overloaded and wouldn't close. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because it's a solid case. This keeps the 3 items that actually fit safe and secure.
