I needed both a wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi) connection when I was away from home and the office. You may only need WiFi. Either way, ditch cell phone hotspot and get this thing instead. I use it with a repurposed SIM card from a spare phone and it's amazing. Download 20-30 Mbit/s and sometimes almost the same download speed. The included optional set of magnetically attached antennas is fragile but delivers cargo to my SUV, while the "inside" antennas also work well given the relatively strong local signal. I even took it with me on a business trip a few weeks ago and it gave me 8 devices wired and wifi plus internet that I wouldn't have otherwise. For less than a hundred dollars this thing is just great!
