Comes with a thin plastic case to keep dust out. They're a bit greasy, but that's what happens with things you want to keep moving. I use them for a 3D printer so my duty cycle is a little different from skateboarding but I've been using them for almost 2 months now where I run a set of 4 about 18 hours a day at maybe 2rpm. So at this point we're approaching 130,000 rpm in a warmer than ideal room (85 degrees due to Arizona in the summer and the printer is running at around 400 degrees Fahrenheit and melting a bunch of plastic) without losing toughness. In fact, I've just tested one of the ones I use against another, still in a plastic container, and I can't tell them apart by rolling them.
