This is a high quality boar brush, small and compact so you can easily carry it in your handbag. It's also good for home storage when you need a smaller brush. I actually use it at home on my 5 and 7 year old daughters hair. The quality of the brush and the combination of longer nylon bristles and shorter boar bristles is just great. Longer bristles penetrate deeper to detangle tangles, while boar bristles give hair a smoother, more finished look. This is a very good brush. The only very minor gripe is that there are several very similar options that are just as good but sell for $2-3 less.
