As a college student I wanted to buy a suitcase that wouldn't break the bank but would still allow me to keep my bike out of the house at any time of year except winter. This cover is said to be waterproof, and even 5-star reviews claim it is. I ignored the 1 star reviews and bought it. Brand new out of the box. I put it on my CBR500R knowing it was going to rain overnight. When I went out this morning to see how things were going, it turned out that the cover kept the rain off! Unfortunately my bike was wet when I looked under the cover. I'm not talking about how the rain splashes up and to the sides. The rain went THROUGH the "waterproof roof" and WET my bike. So here I am, soaked in my clothes, writing this review after having to take my bike back to storage and dry it. Do not buy. If I could leave negative feedback I would. This cover is nowhere near what is advertised.
