I order my masks from a local woman who makes them to order. I usually wear regular earplugs, I don't like things hanging around my head. The last masks I ordered were too big, I think I should ask for adjustable straps in the future, but that's what led me to these little lifesavers. They work great for most 1/4 inch rubber bands. I have a mask with a thick 1/4 inch elastic which was a lot harder to get through the holes but I got through. I broke both needle threaders that came with them, but I learned how to use a bobby pin from someone else's review and it worked great. I recommend cutting off part of the short shank on the bolt just where it flexes away from the rest to create a flat run through the holes. come from.
