Pros:- Catches litter well. As long as it stays dry, it's easy to clean - you just pour the litter back into the box.- HUGECon:- If it gets wet, UGH! Urine accidents (or shower water - we keep our box in the bathroom & have splashy kids) make the clumping litter stick to every little nook on the mat.- NOT URINE/WATER PROOF! Discovered this the unpleasant way, with nasty foul smelling soaked-through urine under the mat (poor kitty is having a rough time with bladder crystals)- RETAINS ODOR- Even after hosing down the mat & soaking with enzyme urine cleaner, rinse & dry-it smelled. So another rinse and then a bleach solution, rinse & air dry in the sun, it still smells like urine.So.if you have a cat that is faithful to the box & NEVER has accidents, and you don't keep the box near a source of water, this would be great. If ALL of that does not apply.pass on this product!
