The medium bag turned out to be more than large enough for me
I spent a long time deciding on the size and finally decided on medium (not large). The Medium is definitely roomy - not too big, not too small - and fits ALL my travel gear. Hair products, makeup, serums, lotions, etc. I LOVE the clear compartments and how everything folds down into one large bag that's actually smaller than any bags I've used before. The only thing that doesn't work for me is my flat iron or curling iron. I think you only need the large size if you want to bring full size bottles with lots of stuff or if you just travel with LOTS of groceries.
