My son wanted slippers that weren't too childish so we went for these. He is currently a size 4 but we bought a size 5 to let him grow a bit. They fit well and have some leeway for around 1-2 years. They are of better quality than other children's slippers. There's no arch support, but there's more cushioning and a thicker sole. The top of the slippers is convex and shaped to remain open so you can easily put them on. We bought another pair for a little less money to compare and they were of much better quality. Would recommend and buy the next size up if he outgrows them.
