My son is 9 years old slim kid and size 2 is perfect, now they may sound good but I mean they fit perfectly where his toes are on the edge of the sandal. I personally prefer them a little larger to give kids time to grow up. They fit other size 2 sandals as I like them a bit small. It is recommended to buy one size up for your child or try what you can get. Good material although durable and comfortable they don't look or feel cheap
