This oil is wonderful to apply to the face. This helps hydrate the dry patches around the outer eye. It has a pleasant light citrus aroma. Don't laugh, but my grandfather always put pieces of papaya on bug bites to keep them from getting infected. I just had two red mosquito bites on my lower calf - I smeared on a tiny dab of this oil and they were gone within hours. This is just a little anecdote, not medical advice, but I think grandpa knew what he was doing.
