Review on 🔇 Noctua NF-P12 PWM: Premium Quiet Fan for Enhanced Cooling, 4-Pin (120mm, Brown) by Andrew Frison

Bought 4 Noctua fans for my server in January 2017. 3 are working perfectly now, 27 months later. 1 broke in February. I still give them 5 stars because: 1) they seem to be of good quality and I'm generally very happy with them, low noise, air movement etc. everything is fine 2) there are problems, but if they arise, does the manufacturer behind the product have a 6 year guarantee? Yes, they do. I'm happy. My only, and I mean only constructive, criticism is that the warranty replacement process is somewhat reactive, knee-jerk rather than proactive, and aimed at getting the customer back to work immediately. Specifically, I sent a warranty request, they replied and asked for more details (serial number), then they wrote that they wanted a photo of the disconnected fan and a letter on the photo (all ok). They then ordered a replacement, which arrived a week later. So if my server was down due to a bad fan, it would be offline for 1-2 weeks. I understand the reason for this process but it would be better if they just let you know in advance what you need to provide to expedite a legal replacement. Again, I am satisfied and would buy more of their products.
