Review on 💧 AQUA CREST I2000 2 Under Sink Water Filter - NSF/ANSI 42 Certified - Replacement Cartridge for Everpure i2000, MC2, ESO7, MH2, EV9612-22, EV9612-56, EV9607-25, EV9613-21 by Liam Roth

After using an Evenpure filter on my ice maker for 14 years I decided to try this less expensive option. Less than 6 weeks after installation, my ice machine pump became clogged due to a lot of sediment going through the filter. I called Aquacrest to see if the item was defective or to find a solution to fix the problem. In a nutshell. they will not help me in this matter. They asked me for photos and proof of purchase which I provided them with but they said the warranty was expired so they wouldn't help further. I use city water and never had a problem until I switched to an Aquacrest filter. Luckily I found the problem before it wrecked my car. Avoid this filter if you value your car. FYI I spoke to my ice machine mechanic and he said either the water supply has changed drastically or the filter is defective. I called the water board and they don't have a problem at the moment. I'll go back to the Evenpure filter and see what happens.
