I bought this antenna for my relatives who used to have picture quality problems and also couldn't receive channels like 2, 5 or 7. They had an old Zenith model for $15. I figured this $50 GE antenna would give you better reception quality. They live in the Chicago area, so that doesn't mean they're in the middle of nowhere. Aside from the fact that the device looks better than the old one, unfortunately the picture quality hasn't improved. I've tried different areas of the house and the front panel signal indicator always shows a bar. I think my biggest issue with this product is the price. If I paid 10-20 dollars I could explain that it doesn't work well. At $50 it feels cheap and no better than cheaper models.
