The wire on the spoked disc and pot feels almost inflexible and feels the same in use. I found other wire brushes with the same wire gauge, but mounting on the back of these tools meant much more intensive use. These wire brushes I received had a round shank designed to be used in a drill chuck like other finer wire wheels. Other than that, the product I received was well made and has not deteriorated with use. Just know that what you see with this product is what you get.
