This monitor is very light and well built. The case is made of plastic, but it's ok for me. I find the monitor useful for low and high angle shots and when I need a better view. If your camera does not have a focus peak, it will be added. There are other useful features as well. Two function keys are practical. The menu system is adequate and fairly easy to use. The hot shoe mount is lightweight and feels solid enough for the job. If you have a DSLR, the mount will do a lot of things. For one of the mt cameras it would be nice to raise the hot shoe by about 1 inch. I have something close to ideal for this task. However, I would like it to be a little shorter. This is a great and affordable monitor.
