Everything works great. He does what he has to. Only the volume and the headphones are annoying when lying in bed and watching TV, which I often do at night. The volume depends on what you have set in your headphones, which can be an issue at night when you want to turn them up or down as the volume is on the device behind the TV. Otherwise it's great. Converts a digital connection to an analogue connection. And you can connect headphones. That bribed me because you can't do that with a lot of new TVs.
