I've purchased a Tread and have been trying to use the device for offroad vehicle use. Garmin refuses to invest in trail maps - so much so that there is hardly ANY trails showing on the base maps available on the device. Garmin, in it's infinite wisdom, also decided to block the ability to load new / custom maps onto the Tread, so even if you find good trail maps Garmin as a company tells you no - you don't get to use the device how you want. It's a shame, this should be holistically used for offroad use and yet Garmin drops the ball in an absolutely massive way
