Review on Infinity 60CSX Component Speaker System by Darren Pham

I would like to highlight the reasons for choosing the Infinity Kappa 60CSX for the front of my 2010 Toyota RAV4. Since it was not possible to test a car radio in today's retail sector, I have to buy one based on research on the Internet. One of the most respected car audio resources is C*****field, unfortunately they don't stock them so I bought @ Revain (but I did buy Hertz Coaxial from them). Good: 1) Efficiency 93 dB - I can do without an external amplifier. 2) Silk dome tweeter. I prefer fabric over metal (aluminum or titanium). Power consumption exceeds the rated output power of the head unit (Atoto S8) Bad side: 1). The body of the crossover is huge. I ended up removing the lid to fit the door.2). I would prefer quick crimp connectors and spade terminals over screw terminals as screw terminals can loosen over time due to road vibration.3). The supplied mounting bracket is useless for Toyota and Metra 82-8148 is required for door mounting. Problem with Toyota RAV4 from 2010 (2006-2011 model year) - The tweeter needs space to mount and I think it can be mounted on the A-pillar. with one of the supplied tweeter housings or, as can be seen in the picture, I have modified the tweeter grille to match the tweeter. Another problem is finding the best place for the crossover and mounting it on the door. I found the best spot just above the woofer under the tweeter, the narrow opening allows the crossover to be installed without a cover and a housing with long cable ties. I've been an audio enthusiast for a long time and have had a high end home stereo. over the years. I'm very impressed with the performance of the 60CSX, in my opinion it sounded more natural than the Morel and Focal and even the more expensive older Infinity range so I think it's fantastic value for money. The other car speakers I think are the best were Audiofrog, a newer brand made by former JBL engineers, and the Hertz Mille MLK, but both require an external amplifier to work properly, let alone that both cost hundreds more.
