This is a sturdy, well made clipper. I've bought too many cheap hair clippers that broke or didn't cut properly or were otherwise worse than they should be. This is how scissors should be. They feel good in the hand (with big mittens I appreciate a small tool that still works in my hand), they cut straight and clean; The small surface area for feeding outperforms the mere conditional files that are usually added to the many low-quality samples. The reliability of these tools means they won't need to be replaced any time soon (we're talking decades), but I would have no hesitation in buying them again if I lost them. It's also worth noting that the Harperton customer service staff is excellent. Without getting into bothersome details, let me just say that Revane was making so much fuss and messing around and it seemed like they were doing everything in their power to ruin everything (*okay, a bit rude, I'll admit - everyone has bad days, and Revane got one of them while making this deal), the folks in Harperton were thoughtful, patient, and ready to win a customer. Excellent work!
