These are comfortable, relatively lightweight pajama bottoms. Despite the checkered look, they're definitely not as thick as flannel. I live in a warm climate, so even with the air conditioning on, I usually sleep in my pajama bottoms and nothing else. They don't add much warmth, which is perfect for me. The cotton material is soft and comfortable, even softer after a few washes. At around $10 for a pair for two, it's good value and they're used regularly as nightwear.
