Not at all realistic, plastic and unattractive
I bought it because most of the reviews were positive and the pictures looked good. It's just a disgusting garland, it's awful, I didn't even bother to unwrap it because it looked so horribly rolled up I knew it wouldn't get any better unwrapped. The colors are muted and matte, it looks like something that was moved out of my grandma's house after it had been there since 1972. I will return this item.
