Works as it should. I used the remote once when setting it up to make sure it worked, but haven't needed it since. You don't need a power adapter either. Connect it to Roku2, Samsung Blu-ray player, LG DVD/CD player and Steam Link. When I turn on one of them, it automatically switches to it. Since I only have one at a time, I haven't had the issues that some others have reported (Roku goes to sleep and doesn't send a signal until you wake it). Don't buy this if you're trying to use it for 4K or HDMI 2.2 - click the link for the 4k model on the same page. The only thing I would change is that the LED is brighter than it should be. if you don't want to use it as a night light and it would be nice if they included double sided tape for mounting as there are no mounting holes.
