I was looking for a bag in "Cognac" or "Saddle" color for autumn that would go with different outfits. Vintage style frame bags are very popular this year, but I wanted something that didn't look too dated. I stumbled upon this bag and am very happy with it! The tan color is great in person, it really looks like saddle tan. Thanks to its hinged opening and wide base, it holds a surprising amount of stuff. (I was able to hide my small makeup bag, small compact umbrella, sunglasses, phone, tissues, keys, small wallet, airfields, small hairbrush, small hand lotion and hand sanitizer!) Although this may not be very convenient time to open is the lock on the front every now and then (although this is easy to do), on the back there is a large zippered pocket, easy to access; I use this for my phone and my credit card/cash for faster access. I love that the bottom of the bag has metal rivets to keep it clean and that it easily stands up on any surface when open (allowing you to see everything in your bag at a glance). The bag feels thick, has good structure and looks well made. I've been using it every day since I bought it and it's holding up well, fingers crossed. I REALLY want this bag in black or grey, would love to buy another one!
