Yes, I was disappointed when I first opened it. I looked for thick foam glue because I've always had good luck with this kind and they work well. However. THIS IS INCREDIBLY AWESOME! I like that they are a thinner type of foam and are NOT sticky. My phone case isn't quite flat and the original clear thin adhesive for my pop socket sucks. I dropped my phone on my face as I lay down because it had just come loose. In short, you will not be disappointed. It even works on non-flat surfaces.
